We are thrilled to announce that our joint project, GoodByo, has been awarded a grant of 4.9 million euros from the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU)!

This significant funding will drive us forward in our research to expand our production capability of longer chain fatty acids such as caprylic acid. Our technology is an alternative for the traditional production route of this key material from oleochemical sources like palm kernel or coconut oil.

Many thanks to all parties involved in the GoodByO consortium: Center for Sustainable Future Technologies (CSFT@Polito), Krajete GmbH, Brite Solar, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES), Politecnico di Torino, Technische Universität Wien, Masaryk University Brno, CIB - Consorzio Italiano Biogas.

Together we will be developing a new generation multipurpose biorefinery using carbon and waste-based processes to create novel cost-efficient and sustainable bio-based products.
